I have been a Schat Communications customer for well over a year. Previously, I was with a larger corporation that services the area and accustomed to negative interactions with customer service representatives from well outside the region. During the initial installation of Schat Services, I had user error issues around 9pm that were resolved by a competent, well-spoken gentleman. I am not sure I have ever paid my bill on time, never been an issue. I receive maintenance updates customized precisely to my location when necessary. My family of five is able to consume a suburban amount of bandwidth in our very rural area. This small business takes pride in the service they provide and how they provide it. Recommended with enthusiasm.

We’ve had Schat install wireless at two remote cabins and are very impressed with their tech and customer service! Luis installed both of our systems, and he is professional, punctual, and technical, as well as kind and considerate to work with. Because one location was remote, he even came to verify that we could receive a signal, before we had our system installed. Service and signal strength are good and prices are fair. Would definitely recommend!

Trying to figure out why an internet company has such poor service when it comes to paying the bill. After not receiving our bills in the mail, we decided to sign up for direct payment. But the guy on the phone told us they wouldn't interrupt our service unless we were over 2 months behind. We thought that was weird. But after 2 months they interrupted our service and we found out we were 2 months behind! Why have the direct payment option if you guys don't pull out the money when the bill is due? Seems like a scam to get people behind just so you get more money at once.

Ya'll I can't even tell you how amazing Schat Communications is, I live in a rual community outside of Bishop and internet options are ridiculous, I have been with Schat for over a year now and I started having connection issues because all the leaves are blooming on the trees again so our service was blocked, which is a big issue because we are currently doing school and telegraph through Zoom calls because of the pandemic. I called to get some help and 2 days later Luis showed up with a mask on to troubleshoot the issue. Within an hour we had better service then we started with, Luis is very professional and really cares about his customers. I will never leave Schat.net. None can beat their prices and no one can beat their amazing customer service!!

We just got set up with their internet and it is amazingly fast. Bruce took the time to make sure we were working properly and if something needed to be fixed he just did it. Nick is also one of their techs and he fixed our minor issue with pride. We love your service.

I called to set up broadband service and they had a technician out to the house the same day. Luis was super professional, punctual and efficient. Also very refreshing to not deal with a telcom but an actual local business. No up-selling, no scripted customer service. Everyone was super clear about what options they could offer. A plus! I couldn't be happier.

I live far out of town but work in Bishop during the week. When I lost my charging cable for my laptop I thought I was up a creek as I couldn't find anybody in town who sells these kinds of things (Sears, drugstore, American Business Machines) . Schat.net to the rescue! They had several universal charging cords on hand to sell! Awesome! The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and very thorough showing me how to use my new cord.

Friendly and helpful staff, have replacement (universal) laptop charger cords (amongst other tech supplies)

A NOTE! I was told they have Amazon Prime and can get items shipped next-day. If you're an out-of-towner and need something fast, keep these guys in mind!

Went in to get a charger for my laptop, had very important business files that needed to be sent to my employer ASAP. The employee there, an older gentleman, said he ordered one and they would be in the next morning. Went in the next day and he said that they were taking an extra day, only to go in the next day and he told by another employee that no one ever ordered one. Never doing business with Schat again, extremely unprofessional and I will be taking my services and wifi elsewhere.
