Very nice park, I wish Jamestown had something like this. The pioneer days are, however, just another event to get people to sell their overpriced food and products, with pretty much nothing else to do.

Plenty of space to play. Nice and clean. There is a splash pad that the kids love, so bring a bathing suit.

The large water fountain on the play ground was not working, which even had a low one for your doggies. However, the water fountain in the bathroom building was working and nice and cold.

The parking lot is large enough to park about 30 cars, with room to back in your large pick up trucks. There are two designated handicapped ā™æļø parking spaces and the entire park is accessible. Additionally, there are two electric car charging spots with Chargepoint chargers (see photo). There is a very large public parking lot across the street.

The restroom building 🚻 is large and also has a designated room for nursing mothers.

We discovered this gem a week ago. We moved up here from fort myers florida. I’ve never seen such a nicely kept, clean little park. It’s not the biggest, but my kids absolutely love it. It’s nice to take a walk on the small loop while the kids play. This will be a regular for us.

Beautiful park! Newly remodeled in 2018 but still looks new to me.

There’s a water park/fountain area on a timer. I’m thinking the younger kids/grands would like it. The pre-teens will get bored quickly, I think.

There’s a great climbing structure and clean restrooms. The picnic shelter is smaller and available to rent for birthday parties.*

For the fitness-minded, they have an exercise circuit with workout stations. You can also get part of your 10,000 daily steps in by walking the circuit.*

There’s also a big grassy area/stage area that looks like it’d be great for community concerts.

A great little park with lots of overflow parking. I wish it was nearer to my place!

(*details for shelter rental & walking distance are included in my pics).

Very nice place, great for kids. Nice splash pad for kids (adults too!) Splash pad is still a little slippery so be careful. Covered picnic tables. Couple pieces of exercise equipment. Large playground area with padded ground under. Large restrooms (but almost always no soap). They have events during summer months that are lots of fun. It has a big stage area.
