I recently attended a Storytelling Boot Camp with Magnetic Speaking, and I am so grateful for the generous scholarship they provided. The boot camp was truly invaluable. The instructor was engaging, supportive, and made the learning process enjoyable.

Before this training, I used to dread being asked to "tell a story" because I thought of stories as something abstract and hard to structure. But after the boot camp and the various storytelling structures they taught, I now feel confident and equipped with the tools to frame my stories effectively. It's like I finally have a bottle to contain that liquid!

I highly recommend this boot camp to anyone looking to improve their storytelling skills—it exceeded my expectations and left me with practical knowledge I can apply right away.

My first calss @ Magnetic Speaking was in June. By the end of July 2024, I have already attended the total of 5 classes and would sign up more. Who would think someone like me would sign up in the public speaking class(es). I hated it. I hate public speaking. I have fear, anxiety and worst was unkind self-talk about my public speaking .. but I know I need to grow in this area and it will benefit me in my presonal life as well.

Why I keep on coming back? Because Magnetic Speaking staffs/intstructors and my peers have been amazing. I felt encouraged, less fear, and meet so many wonderful people.

My 1st class in person one day bootcamp, I felt nervous and thought I was the only one who felt that way.. but everyone was. It doesn't matter what industries you are, how old, what gender, speaking English 1st or 2nd or 3rd.. we all are here because we are afraid of public speaking and we want to learn these tools.

I have taken : Storytelling bootcamp (in-person fullday), Messaging bootcamp (online full day), Lead Productive meeting ...etc. They are all super helpful and I've noticed improvements the way how I speak and the way how I tell powerful stories instantly.

My cohorts are super diversed, a non-profit worker, IT folks, vice-president of some company, software engineer, musician turn to a volunteer coordinator for some organization, a dog rescue folk etc.. We have empathy for one another. The instructor was fabuloys. I had taken classes with 4 instructors. They are very skillful, kind, generous and know how to work with people like us who are fearful but want to learn and be better at this. Thank you to Magnetic Speaking staffs and instructors.

Thank you Katie and the Magnetic Speaking team for a very impressive Messaging Bootcamp. She introduced a template/cheat sheet to make any conversation, casual or formal, a slam dunk. The class was fun, high energy, and the 7 hours go by quickly. It is well worth the cost as you learn skills to apply to so many aspects of your life, for the rest of your life. Definitely exceeded expectations and would highly recommend.

I just took the Delivery Bootcamp training with coach Rahul this past weekend! At first, I was hesitant to attend the speaking training because I generally get nervous and anxious about public speaking. I wanted to take the delivery course because I am hoping to transition to my dream career which requires a lot of persuasion and public speaking. The workshop exceeded my expectations and makes me hopeful about my progress. The coach did an amazing job understanding our goals in the beginning, presenting the delivery concepts for virtual or in-person settings, then allowing us to practice. After each exercise, we received personalized feedback. After the workshop, I am more aware about what to do with my hands, how to use my virtual frame to my advantage, and what to do when I hit a cliff when speaking. I took many valuable tips and I hope to keep practicing until it becomes natural.

I had a fantastic experience taking the Blueprint Bootcamp! The material and exercises were really clear and easy to follow, the structure kept me engaged throughout the training, and the trainer, Gina, was excellent. Gina was down-to-earth, her energy was inspiring, and her feedback was always concise and helpful. By the end of the Bootcamp, I felt so much more confident and grounded in my speaking. I was much more conscious of how to work with the anxious energy in my body and much clearer on how to help my audience understand my story. Big thanks to Gina and Magnetic Speaking!

I recently took the virtual Delivery Bootcamp and found it to be top notch. Both the curriculum and instruction were exceptional with a strong balance between learning new tactics and practicing them in a supportive small group environment. The instructor was able to coach with nuance and adjust to different contexts and industry norms. I've already put much of what he offered into practice to make my delivery in never-ending Zoom meetings more compelling. I particularly improved at removing "um" fillers and becoming more effective at pausing instead. Wish I could do all of the bootcamps, they're well worth it.

I did not know what to expect and I wondered how a day class would go. The class was really supportive, energizing and inspirational. Our coach, Patty had a lot of ways to improve on our performance, all the while giving us confidence. We had many opportunities to think on our feet and become the best speakers we can be. Our class built up a camaraderie in just one class. I definitely recommend taking a day out to focus on getting the message that is inside you across.
