Would rate them lower if I could. Never bothered to contact me after multiple attempts on my end to speak with them. It’s been two years and no response. Fortunately, I’ve found a job since then, but wouldn’t trust them if I ever had to search again.

This is the 1st staffing company that I have worked with and it was a pretty painless experience. I landed the job and the recruiter that I was working with Cole Coleman was amazing. I am working a temp to hire and fingers crossed I lan the permanent position. Thanks for the help. I was surprised with how many negative reviews since I had such a good experience.

Edit: this response is so classic for an entitled company that refuses to take responsibility for anything. Just so disappointing. To other potential clients: if you ever think about using this company, my advice is to first contact all your friends and warn them to refuse to talk to you through any recruiter who claims to represent you. Otherwise, my worry is that you may get a shakedown demand from this company for “recruiting” one of your longtime friends to come work for you — someone who only talked to the recruiter because they were led to believe that recruiter represented you. If this sounds like too much trouble, then my advice is to not use Roth. Second, anyone curious about this is more than welcome to contact me personally to learn more about my opinions on the matter. As another point to this company’s incompetence, you can see from this review that they didn’t bother to ask for a confidentiality provision when they settled their claim against us. There are plenty of recruiters, and some might even value long-term partnership. My $0.02 is that all of us should support those, not this one.

Here’s my original review:

Through interactions with in-house counsel Dana as a client, I was unfortunately left with a very low opinion of this company’s honesty and business ethics. When presented with what we felt was very strong evidence of dishonesty by an employee out in Colorado, Dana responded by threatening to sue us. In my opinion, other small firms should heed the following advice: treat this company with extreme caution, expect to be treated as a transaction, and don’t expect an ongoing relationship or future business to take precedence over today’s fee.

IM not sure if this is the location this lady i'm going to review works at but its sure is the company. But I cant believe all the bad reviews because personally I was working with MS Kenya M. and she's GREAT I had the best experience with this lady she's very fast and cares about her job and the people. She's always available polite and calm to answer and help in any way possible. I was very stressed out and just her calm demeanor made me feel calm. And not only did she tell me everything was going to be OK, But it was just like she said. Now withing a week and a couple days I have an amazing new job and thanks to her help. SOMEONE GIVE THIS LADY A RAISE 🙂

I have never worked with a recruiter as unprofessional as this. I was recruited by Jackie. I could only rarely get ahold of her after she got me to onboard with them. She was disrespectful. Even when I could get ahold of her she treated me like I was a bother to her. I tried reaching out to others in the company and every time she stopped me. Don’t waste your time with this company. Things finally worked out after giving up on them.

Save yourself, the stress and the frustration and call different staffing agency whether it’s Aerotek or some other one. I am writing this review so that people will see it and see the other negative reviews and realize that there is a common theme within this company, and that my hope is people will walk away and choose a different staffing agency to associate with.
They will offer you the job and then at the last second they will take the job offer away and will give you a lame excuse as to why they did. They will wait until you complete all the on boarding and training courses before they resend your job offer. I wasted about six hours of my time before they took it to Job Offer away for no reason. And this will continue happening to people as seen below.

Really awful staffing company. The company changed their mind several times about a position. They put me through numerous interviews plus several online assessments. I was very excited when I was offered a position, but then they later called and changed their minds. They were very rude and unprofessional. I was also asked weird ethnic-probing questions (I'm a minority) that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Very very unprofessional and they make excuses about their poor behavior.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a staffing company. I went through 5, 1 hour interviews, a personality test, a cultural assessment, an online fill-in-the-blank Q&A. This was for a full-time internal position. They said I got the job and then changed their minds. Throughout the entire time there were warning signs. All of the people interviewing me were non-POC (I'm a WOC) and they seemed intimidated by my experience. I went through all this only for them to change their minds about a position? Who does that? Who puts a candidate through 5, 1 hour interviews, plus all of the other online questions, tell the candidate you got the position, and then change their minds?

Additionally, I was asked questions by non-POC interviewer about my ethnicity and it was inappropriate. This question had nothing to do with the job role.The interviewer claimed that they were simply asking for internal knowledge and to know how to deal with diversity in the company. But that's not what the interview was supposed to be about. Interviews aren't supposed to be ethnic research. The question was totally out of line and had nothing to do with my ability to perform the tasks. Everyone should know that this type of hiring practice is ethically questionable.

My suggestion is to stay away from Roth Staffing.
