About a month ago, I was just doing some normal house cleaning. A few hours later, I sat down for a while—and when I got up, I was in tears. The pain in my lower back was unbearable, unlike anything I had felt before. It was painful to walk, sit, stand, etc. I’ve had back issues in the past, but this was something else entirely. It lingered for days, and with a fun weekend planned (including a concert), I knew I had to do something—otherwise, I’d be miserable the entire time.

I had never been to a chiropractor before and, to be honest, the idea terrified me. I was nervous walking in, but the moment I stepped through the door, I was made to feel very comfortable. Viviana at the front desk was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful—she instantly put me at ease, which was huge for someone who was so anxious.

Then came the consultation with Dr. Michael. I was still nervous, but he made everything so easy to understand. During the exam and after reviewing my X-rays, he discovered something I’ve had all my life that I never knew about: an extra vertebrae! We even gave it a name—Baby Spine 😂

Dr. Michael was kind, attentive, and genuinely listened to what I was experiencing. Both he and Viviana truly understood how much pain I was in. After some therapy and my first adjustment (yes, I survived the “crack”!), I immediately felt a bit of relief—and more importantly, hope.

Dr. Michael even fit me in the day before my trip to make sure I was feeling my best, and that made me feel genuinely cared for—not like just another patient. He also gave me helpful tips to manage the pain on my own, and thanks to that, I was able to actually enjoy my weekend!

Since that first visit, I’ve been going twice a week, and while my back is still putting up a fight, it’s a night-and-day difference from where I started. I’m not 100% yet, but the progress has been amazing—and it’s all thanks to their care.

I will forever recommend Bystrom Family Chiropractic to anyone in need of relief. They don’t just provide adjustments—they offer support, warmth, understanding, and genuine compassion.

Dr. Mike and staff are by far the best in their field! He listens and analyses everything you tell him about your health. Not afraid to try different techniques. He gives 200% all of the time! I often say I want a doctor to treat me as if I were his family by providing the best care possible. Dr. Mike does just that!
