Tom and Jacob are two of the best financial advisors I have ever worked with!! They are both down to earth...great gentlemen and explain everything in an understandable way! To top it off.......they are always accessible!

I called Tom on a Friday night while I was in a parking lot at 4:30 PM with my senior mom who wanted answers to a financial question right that minute. Tom answered immediately and helped me put my mom at ease.

Tom has been an advisor for over 25 years. In the past15 years he has focused on people like me that are either or-retired or retired. I am a 78 year old woman, I always managed my investments myself till my husband got cancer and he needed me. So when I met TomThorson I liked him and thought he would be honest and manage my investments well. I turned over my investment last June 2014. At our 6 mo review I questioned why the funds were staying the same with no gain at all. Tom said that it takes time, my investments in the past usually made some gains or loses. This March 2015 i again checked the progress and again no change.
I decided to leave Thorson Financial as I was paying them fees to manage my accounts. I called Tom on March 30,2015 and asked him to liquidate my trust fund and send me a check. I needed the money due to a large tax bill, which was caused by Tom selling all the funds in one account giving me a taxable gain of over $12,000.00 without advising me.
I am writing this on Sunday April 12. I am still waiting for my check. Tom said it would be here Saturday by special delivery, so I stayed home all day waiting. I have 3 days till my taxes are due and I am quite upset by the lack of caring displayed by Tom thorson. He even joked about it "don't worry they will not come and take you away in handcuffs"
