Worst lawyer ever! I wouldn't recommend her to any one with a child custody case for that matter anything at all if you have to tell your own lawyer the court date and walk from the court house to here office asking were the hell she is I'm beside myself and pay your hard earned money for here to represent you is a disgrace!! I even went to school with her and her husband was friends with my brother if I could give her a negative score it would be - 100 disbarment for sure!!!

I'm leaving a 1 star review, only because I have to leave a review. This will be fairly long so please read. Okay, I hired Mrs Dobbins thinking I would need her. I did pay her for what should've been 4 hours of her time. We did the initial consultation, and didn't speak again. (She is EXTREMELY hard to get ahold of, especially if she owes you money, but read further for details). The situation I needed her in 1.) I couldn't get ahold of her, when I did need her. 2.) She never showed up in person. She forgot about court one day when I NEEDED her badly (before this experience). So if you want someone who will speak with you and show up for court, she's not the one. Second bad but not terrible thing is (which is next), she refused a refund when I no longer needed her services. She ignored my phone calls, and was actually at the office. I know because I drove an hour to hope she was there. She was. She also offers nonrefundable retains (which is illegal, especially when she did NOTHING). She couldn't provide me with anything showing she even looked at my case. Which should mean, I got my money back in full. Unfortunately, she gave me 1/4th of my money and took off. But the WORST thing about her is my experience yesterday. We drove an hour hoping she would be there after many failed attempts of trying to talk to her. Her office was open but when my 6 MONTH OLD and I, w were outside, she locked her doors and closed the blinds. After knocking several times, she said "1 minute" and shut the door, locked it, in my face. But it gets worse. My 6 MONTH OLD and I had to stand outside in 45 degree weather, while waiting half an hour on her (she deducted that 30 minutes from what she owed me too). We were unable to park in her parking area because there wasn't enough room. So we walked from the parking lot behind back. Thankfully I bundled my 6 month old up, so he wasn't cold. But SHE KNEW I had a baby with me and made us wait in the cold. When I went to put my son in the vehicle, her secretary ran outside to give me a FORTH of what was owed, AFTER NOT DOING ANYTHING. NOT EVEN TALKING TO US. So, I personally will not recommend her at all. Maybe someone else will have a better experience than I did because she did my family wrong.

Would not return or answer phone calls. Many appointments were either very fast, interrupted or a no show by Dobbins. She did nothing except unkept promises from Oct 2017 to June 2018. Enough said so she was fired. Then took 4 days to get refunded and paperwork back. This lawyer I'd a negative 5...had to place a star to leave comment. Also shes been reprimand by the Law Board. Do your homework because this attorney takes cases for prisoners that shes been appointed to. Just sad!

Sherry is not just a great lawyer, she is a great person. Shes always believed in me and helped me even when I was at my lowest. You dont find people like her too often

I never hear from you. I had to contact you to find out I’m being held in contempt of court I call and call but never any answer at all and when there is an answer it’s me finding out I’m being held in contempt I need a lawyer
