DO NOT RENT WITH THEM!!! Very unprofessional. Declined me. Then turned around and approved me just for them to say the same thing they decline me for . Got off the phone got a notification that they declined me again !!! They just money hungry !! Don’t send no confirmation that they ranned your credit and background! Feel like they only approved because of my review ! Josh attitude bad and communication trash ! He had the nerves to say “ you was hounding about an update “ you did the update earlier . When I made my review you wanted to approve it ! Just to turn around and decline it again . Never seen nothing like it . Do not waste your time with these people . They is full of it ! They have the rating for a reason ! Believe people when they say DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!

Do not rent from these people. No communication and professionalism. When I moved into the house with my two other roommates the house was infested with cockroaches. There was a gas bill that was never payed for which was not our fault but the fault of the girls that were living there prior. Me and my roommate decided to move out and it was the best decision. Bradford told us that we could terminate our lease. When it came time to getting out security deposit me and my roommate communicated with them almost daily to see any updates about it. They eventually sent the deposit in one check when there was three people living there. It doesn't matter if it has one address on the envelopes, there was three different people living there so therefore three separate checks. I went to their office to ask for three checks and this made Josh very upset. Even before i could get a word out he had a negative attitude. He continued to argue about how he shouldn't give me the money because i never full-filled my duties of finishing my lease. Why give someone the green light to move out? Im not sure what is going on in this company but all they want is your money.

Do not and I mean do not rent from this company. They only care about getting their money and not their well-being of their tenants. They do not care about the up keeping of their properties. I was out of a oven for almost two weeks and during the summer was out of air in 80+ degree weather for four days before it was even handled or they responded. The property I was renting was supposed to have included pest control and they allowed me to pay it on my own for weeks before I eventually found out through the pest company that Bradford was supposed to be paying for it and than proceeded to confront them and than it was taken care of. Once again only care about their money or keeping their money. I had a rat infestation for WEEKS and they knew about the issue and even the pest control confronted them to pay for the traps and they REFUSED. Had a water leak for two months that made my water bill in the $200s and montevallo confronted them and once again nothing was ever handled. When I finally moved out of the property which was before the beginning of April because I was living in a rat house basically they already had someone living in the house only a days after I moved out and expected my rent for april which I was not there the new people were and not only mine, but I knew they also got two payments from the new people. why would I pay when you have someone there and Im not even in the property? Makes no sense. Not to mention were completely rude about the whole situation or avoided. I could go on and on. This company is the worse. They are all rude or only semi nice when you are putting money in their hands.

Do not rent from these people. They lack communication and professionalism. I signed a lease with them on the Bloch Street Apartments. They promised me a new fridge and a new AC unit would be installed prior to my move in date, and neither of those happened. They did not inform me, rather they just left me to move in without those things.

They also told me the rental unit would be clean prior to my move in day. However, when I went over to check the place out again, the entire unit was dirty. The bathroom had pubic hair and bodily fluid stains everywhere. And what’s worse, the entire unit was infested with FLEAS. When I called to inform them of the infestation, I believe Chuck (?) promised me the entire unit was clean and it wasn’t possible. How could it have been clean when there were pubes and pee on the toilet? Are fleas normal in a clean and ready to move into apartment?

Again, DO NOT rent from these people. They only care about getting your money any way they can.

I applied for one of their apartments and had to call them every single day for updates. They claim they didn’t receive some of my information that I uploaded to the cloud but nobody attempted to call me to inform me. I paid a $45 application fee and was denied and when I asked that just said they “went another direction”. Seems like they just want to scam people and rack up on application fees. Very unprofessional.

Recently applied for an apartment with a co-signer with this company. Had to pay the non-refundable 45$ X2 application fee for two applicants. Supposedly this fee is used to pay for credit inquiry, however, none of us receive notification of a credit inquiry. We had not received any calls or anything from them; always had to call to check in on our own to see what was going on. After nearly two weeks, we call and they state that they are going with another applicant. Wasted our time and our money. Don’t waste your time applying!

I have been renting an apartment from Bradford for almost a year now and I have absolutely no complaints. I have noticed other people complaining about their discrimination or problems, but as a lesbian couple in the south, we have had nothing but pleasant conversations with the employees and they have always been happy to help us with whatever we may need. Our house could have been in better shape when we moved in, but the few issues that we have had have been taken care of by the employees promptly. They are all very nice people and I always have the best conversations with the lady at the front desk.

It seems kind of crook like to make people pay to apply for properties they may not even be able to accept because they have pets. Please consider getting that information available to prospective tenants prior to the application process so you're not taking people's hard earned money and making them gamble. They have beautiful properties, but I will use a different service and recommend other pet owners use a different service due to this. $30/application with the risk of not knowing whether or not the property takes our family members? No thank you.
