The staff was extremely interested in finding the right fit for both the companies they were working for and the people they were working with. After passing the initial screening interview, I was asked for a second phone call where they would create a custom profile on me to hand to the employer of the position I was interested. This was the first and only time that I had a recruiting agency go to such lengths to truly understand and develop a better understanding for their clients.

I was contacted by one of Hire Better's recruiters for a position and after speaking with him, was asked to complete a personality profile and a writing sample so that I could be presented to his client. I never heard from him again and was contacted via email by an unknown person to send in a signed agreement. Again, crickets. Even though I may not have been a fit for the position, I think a simple follow-up email would have been appropriate. I sent personal information and communicated with the recruiter with the utmost of professionalism and respect. Trusting a stranger in the recruiting process is challenging enough without the additional sting of unreciprocated professionalism and respect.

Contacted for an open position while not looking for one and I made sure to mention even before accepting to go through the process that I was not sure if my qualifications and requirements were a match for the position.Their silence on the matter and going through setting up the meeting implied that my concerns were immaterial so I went along.

Initial talks were great and I was told that another internal staff would reach out in a few days after they talked with the client. Absolutely no follow-up after, not even an e-mail.

Expected a "Better" service from Hire"Better" and definitely not responding to any other approaches from this company.
