We went to Mr. Campbell because we were not happy with the final design that our original architect came up with and we wanted a revision to our plans. He sat with us and immediately identified some flaws with the design due to the soil conditions existing in our lot. He grabbed a pencil and started drawing on our plans. Moved some stuff around, redesigned the roof and actually added some square footage by taking advantage of the existing setbacks. We immediately saw the difference in design and were amazed at his perspective for our new retirement home. We decided to go with him at that time. Not only did he came thru with his promised completion date for the final signed and sealed plans, but he gave us the opportunity to review the plans at multiple stages of the design. He communicated with us in a professional and timely manner.
His team was always available to assist and Mr. Campbell never missed answering a call, text or e-mail. He would always respond promptly and would give us the best advised needed for all the questions asked.
We are presently also using his Inspections services and he also designed our pool that we will be building shortly.
Definitely recommend Campbell Engineering Consultants for all and every construction needs in the Florida Keys.

Campbell Engineering helped us with a downstairs garage addition and pool/spa. We relied on the teams professional advice regarding geography, water columns, and all things related to pilings for the pool and even the reinforcement the foundation for the garage. Not our first rodeo when it comes to home construction in florida but it was our first house next to changing water levels/canal front property. I'm writing this review 3 yrs after completion of the projects and now fully appreciate the effort in design Mr. Campbell placed on every aspect of the build. Every socket, step, light, door, piling ,and window was designed to be at the most efficient place with the limited amount of space we had to work with. Should have taken their advice and placed more lights. If we ever get a chance to build a new home in the monroe county area, we will not hesitate to call Campbell Engineering again. We love the addtions to the home. Thank you Mr. Campbell.

My homeowners' association hired Campbell Engineering Consultants, led by Will Campbell, to conduct an assessment for Florida's Milestone requirements. In my view, their lack of milestone expertise was evident. The report failed to identify critical safety and structural issues, such as a sloping concrete floor on the third level. Contractors later confirmed that these safety and structural concerns were significant and should have been identified during the initial assessment.

When I contacted Monroe County's Building Department for review, they noted that many of the findings were minor and irrelevant to milestone compliance.

Given my experience, I would strongly caution others against relying on this firm for milestone assessments.

St. James the Fisherman in Islamorada has a Rectory which has spalling damage to several structural components. We are on a very tight schedule which Will Campbell was able to accommodate. His analysis was returned to us very quickly which we shared with our contractors and able to adhere to this portion of the project schedule. Thank-you Campbell Engineering. Will and his team have been awesome in all aspects of getting our pool project designed and engineered, from layout to landscape. Navigating the building codes and swale requirements were handled promptly and efficiently by Will and his team. They were very responsive and reactive to issues as they arose. Communication is key when doing a building project, and they were very good at keeping us apprised to what was going on and where we were with the status of our job.
