I really like the structure of ATA. From the instructors all the way to the administrative staff. Communication was great, received emails with class info in advance, no issues with access to resources, the content and material were up to date, and the instructors for CISM and CCNA were very knowledgeable and answered everyone’s questions easily. I definitely plan on signing up for classes with them again in the future, if I have the resources that is. All-around fantastic organization.

ATA has a very comprehensive program to help prepare for any IT certification. The online material is very thorough and broken down into easily digestible sections. You will have the chance to practice with multiple lesson quizzes and scenario-based questions as well. I suggest them to anyone looking to get into the IT sector and wants to learn at a reasonable pace.

I don’t usually take online courses of any kind plus it’s been a long while since I was back in school. I signed up for cybersecurity class as a suggestion from my manager at work. The process was easy to get into and the instructor was very knowledgeable and experienced. The process was all smooth till test day. I had difficulty taking my test and the instructor on site was not help. Parson’s testing site instructor was helping to sign in students, help answer questions if possible and teach a class at the same time. They need more knowledgeable and helpful workers. I sent my contact person at the school e-mails and texts of issues but amber never replied and my texts and emails disappeared. I got help from an outside vendor to contact the school which got me speaking to Lynn Fisher. Lynn had explained that amber didn’t work for them anymore and didn’t know why my emails and text messages were gone on my phone after I sent it to amber. She was going to investigate it. As for my situation with testing site issues, she had given me another voucher to redo the test and access to testing material to refresh course workload. She had apologized a dozen times for loss of connection with personnel in her school and employees. She personally has been keeping an eye on me, so I have the best chance of passing the test and if I need any further assistance in the future. Lynn Fisher and her team have been sincere, understanding and helpful during my time of need. Thank you for all you are doing for me.

I recently completed the CASP+ 004 course with ATA, and I am compelled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience with the training and support provided by their team.

J Chaney was an awesome instructor! He was very knowledgeable in the subject matter. Kept me engaged with the material with his current relevant events. He had great examples he would draw out on the projector and make sure it was clear and understood by his students. His use of 80's and 90's references made it very relatable for me. Also enjoyed that he was always humming 90's Pop/R&B music when he entered the room! It was a nice touch!

My background had little to do with the material but J made the material understandable and he kept in small, manageable lessons.

J Chaney was an excellent instructor for the CompTIA Security+ SY0-601 course. He has a deep understanding of the material and is able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way. He is also very patient and always willing to answer questions.

I was particularly impressed with the instructors use of real-world examples to illustrate the concepts of security. This made the material much more relevant and engaging. He also provided us with real world sites to show how you would view different systems and how things worked, which will help me to prepare for the exam.

As the ARMY Guard G6 SGM, I would mention this CompTIA Security Course brought to me by Applied Technology Academy for anyone who is looking to learn about cybersecurity and earn the CompTIA Security+ certification. I have come across many programs but this one is way easy to understand. The study materials are easy to understand and should enable you to pass the exam.

Attended the SEC+ course with ATA. Instructor was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and the classroom environment was set up very nice. Lots of information covered and the instruction was right on the mark. Overall the experience was great for me as I have not attended an in person class in a long time. I would highly recommend if you need professional courses and certifications.
