I've interacted with 10 HOA management companies in my 20 years in Florida. Most are simply not interested in truly helping.

JMA Community Management is by far the best agency I've worked with.

The owner of the company, Jean Adolphe, and he is very knowledgeable, patient, and very knowledgeable about community standards and rules

This company is garbage. They roll out BS assessments constantly, they boot your car after they fail to respond for a week when trying to get a new parking permit. They are ignorant, short sighted crooks.

JMA managed our community for 18 months. They had many challenges to deal with along the way such as a 4.2 M construction project that they came in the middle of and as you can imagine many upset residents that were having to be assessed for these renovations and live through the mess of a concrete restoration. As the former board President and Treasurer, I can honestly say that they did the best that they could with the situation. Along with a contentious board member that would yell at them every day, and various residents that were less than kind, Jean, Thania and Whitney kept their calm. I honestly don't know how, because if I was treated in the way they were I would have quit within the first month. Along with their patience was their willingness to go above and beyond. We only contracted with them for 10 hours a week and I would say that they spent at least double that on our property and never charged us a dime extra. The only complaint I had was the lack of communication at times. They are spread too thin and need to hire more staff. I expressed these concerns to Jean, the owner.

Please disregard the negative posts from the past few months as these were from a few of the disgruntled, sometimes crazy, homeowners going through the construction and personal issues. JMA is a professional, patient, family-owned business that I enjoyed doing business with and would highly recommend them to manage a community.

All I can tell everyone is that JMA Community Management is by far the best agency I've dealt with as far as renting a home. I've dealt directly with the owner of the company, Mr. Jean Adolphe, and he is very knowledgeable, patient, and very upfront about community standards and rules. He made process that could have been stressful very easy. And I have been living in this property for a few years now and I have no complaint. If you are looking to rent or buy, please call JMA CM. You won't regret it,

JMA COMMUNITY MANAGWEMENT AND IT'S OWNER, Mr. Jean Adolphe, are horrible, and all should stay away from using them. They unlawfully held $1300 of my prepaid maintenance money FOR TWO YEARS from the date of my home sale in the RAINBERRY LAKE homeowner's association that they manage. I emailed and phone numerous times to no avail. They don't return emails nor phone calls and I was ignored. Eventually, I hired a lawyer who wrote them a letter threatening a law suit and my $1300 check arrived within a few days. The reason I was ignored is because this company has no integrity, no competence, no back office, and no caring for their customers nor the residents of the homeowner's association's that they manage.

This is a family owned management company. They’ve been able to work with the board of directors and the Condo owners. , I believe they’re very professional, and they do their very best to answer any and all questions to everyone.
Always professional , polite and knowledgeable. , The staff is very good with follow up . . . The manager, Jean Aldophie, Is very diligent and is dedicated to his position.

Remember, the manager’s position is to follow what the boards issues are. A manager doesn’t think up issues and is a watch dog. If anything, maybe when a resident has Unrelated management questions such as a resident believes someone is smoking in public space, they should . take a photo Of proof before contacting the manager about this issue. Loud music is a police issue, not a board or management issue. Call 911 if it is too loud. No need for board members to walk the floors just to do a check like a guard. If there is an issue, a resident will report it to the appropriate person and then it should be investigated . . Neighbors please. Stop questioning tenants or guest’s regarding things that the condo owner and/or management should know, You might be surprised they already know the situation. The questions may be personal too., Jean and his office staff investigate everything. Neighbors please Stop being watch dogs. No need to ask nosy questions . Anyone in the clubhouse Does not need to be questioned of what they are doing there.. Obviously they have a key. Neighbors Stop telling people, “ I’ve never SEEN you before” . Chances are, they never seen you either. How can any management company work with so many ridiculous complaints . Think before you pick up the phone to make a complaint if it’s a valid one. You would be surprised how many or not, and takes Valuable time for real and important issues.. One question to me takes first prize from a board member.. “You only have one bedroom, where is the person that is living with you going to sleep”.? That needed to be reported to the management solution. I don’t know and I don’t care. It’s just a report for them to decide what to do. That is their position.

Being kind is easy. Respect of each other and welcoming people you never met. Most people here are very wonderful. It’s the few whom seem discontent and turn issues into debates that solve nothing and it grows animosity. My experience with JMA has been That they are spending time putting out fires with residents against board decisions on some things. This is not new to All condo management Companies across the country. JMA employees are courteous and professional in answering our concerns. JMA has been our best management company.. Many thanks to the board for hiring them. I believe it’s not easy for any management company to do their jobs appropriately if they are micromanaged. . I suppose that goes with the territory of the position. You will find some reviews here with very angry people towards the manager. Just remember, Managers gets directives from the board. Those are his bosses not the residents. Thank you, JMA. Good job.

Honestly, I see improvements that could be instituted. How about honestly taking responsibility for dropping the ball on issues? No call back or resolutions to the same issues. I can not tell if they work for the HÒA board or for the homeowners. The homeowners pay their salary. They are penny wise and pound foolish, in my opinion. I've observed and have been treated myself with selective enforcement from this company and the board. I've owned my part, yet they don't own their decisions at minimum the poor ones. There is no due prosess protocol in place. Many procedures are put in place and implemented without thought of consequences. Communication is often too cause alarm and invokes fear into the community culture. It's a shame to have owners on the edge. This is a 55-plus community that should be a home, a sanctuary without due stress, peacefully run, and respectful of all members. Treat others in a way that you would like to be treated. I believe that is the golden rule and for all, not just some.
