I recently had the misfortune of calling this CPA company and spoke to a lady named Dana, expecting to speak with a certified public accountant who could provide me with some guidance on a specific accounting issue. But what I got instead was a receptionist with a terrible attitude and no interest in helping me.
As soon as I asked to speak to a CPA, the receptionist lady seemed put off and asked what my question was, implying that she might be able to "help" me. I asked my question, and she promptly answered it, but when I had a follow-up question, her attitude completely shifted. She became condescending and told me to "go look it up online, hunny" - Are you kidding me? I'm calling a CPA company for a reason, not to be treated like an idiot who can't use Google. Then had the nerve to use the patronizing term "hunny" when speaking to me. I told her she’s very rude and I’m not her “hunny”. I was shocked by her unprofessionalism. Also, she said do you want me to make you an appointment so I can charge you?
To make matters worse, this woman is not a CPA herself, so why was she even answering my question in the first place? It's unacceptable that a company would allow their non-CPA staff to handle accounting inquiries.
Needless to say, I will never recommend this company to anyone. The lack of professionalism and courtesy from the receptionist was appalling. If you're looking for a reputable and helpful CPA company, look elsewhere. Avoid this one at all costs.
