We met Anthony in 2019 while looking for a house in Cape Coral. After looking at many houses, we bought a home in the yacht club area. During our search, he took lots of videos of houses for us because we live in another state. He was always happy to help in any way. We recently decided to sell the house and of course we called Anthony. He was familiar with all of the updates and upgrades that we had made to the house, and could speak to them in detail to every interested buyer. We just closed on the house and are very grateful for his hard work and expertise. Anthony helped my sister a couple of years ago and she spoke very highly of him. His integrity, his ability to get her house sold for more than she expected, and for his ability to remove the stress for her. So we decided to give him a try and he did not disappoint. Everything he said he would do he did. He is different from other realtors because he didn't just put a sign in the yard and put it on MLS. He actually used targeted internet marketing to find our buyer. He said he was going to use internet ads to find our buyer to people from Chicago, New England, California, and Midwest States. Sure enough our buyer came from Chicago. Anthony followed up with every showing to get feedback and let us know what was going on and he advised on what to do in this rapidly declining market. Instead of chasing the market down Anthony gave us good advice to get ahead of it and within a week we had the house under agreement with a great buyer and everything went smooth all the way through closing. We are so happy with Anthony we even asked us to help with our brand new home we are purchasing. This guy is the real deal and he really knows what he is doing and what is talking about. When we sold our house in spring of 2019, we had three offers on the first day it was on the market, including two "cash" offers. One of these "cash" offers was Anthony Gome's client. Buyer #1 was offering us full price, cash, with ability to rent back until our new home was finished. Buyer #2 (Anthony's client) offered us $10,000 over asking so that we would move (no rent back option) and was a "cash" buyer. We accepted Buyer #2 as we felt it was worth the move for $10K. Three days before closing we learned there would be no closing. So called "cash buyer" didn't qualify for their mortgage. This sale was contingent on them either selling their business or their condo, neither of which happened. Had we known this buyer was a contingent buyer, we certainly would have taken the Buyer #1 offer. Anthony lied to us throughout the process. A few weeks prior to the closing date an appraiser came out to our home for the client's mortgage. I asked Anthony why an appraisal was needed for a cash buyer? He said that his client's financial advisor suggested they get a mortgage rather than pay cash. His client was never a cash buyer. So after 58 days of market time (all pending) we had to put our house back on the market. We did not get a full price offer as the house showed as having 58 days on the market. In the end, Anthony cost us $10,000 and an additional move plus the costs associated with moving, which would not have happened if we had accepted Buyer #1 offer, who truly was a cash buyer.

Anthony helped us find a home in Cape Coral. We looked at about 18 homes or so in the Cape, Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. This was done over several months as we were from out of town. He also did about a half dozen or more video tours both live and YouTube.

We put bids on multiple properties and came up in 2nd quite a few times so it was as a learning experience for me how competitive the market is due to Covid. We finally found a home that did not have as much competition from other buyers and our offer was accepted.

Anthony is not high pressure when it comes to looking at houses or putting in an offer which I like. Anthony helped us throughout the entire time and continues to help me post sale. He believes in building relationships which can take years to develop and that is how we met. Somewhere along the line I signed up for his newsletter and we talked a couple of times over the course of a year or two and when we were ready to look at homes we decided to go with Anthony.

He will offer advice if you ask for it but as I said he is not pushy. I’ve learned a lot about Cape Coral from Anthony and soon I’ll be able to call it home.
