After the COVID pandemic my portfolio never came back to the level it was prior. I also began to see that Thais was more interested in the accolades and awards she received and not paying attention to my portfolio. I was given another advisor who was very nice but I was paying for Thais’ management. After I left in July 2024, my portfolio is beyond pre COVID and my disbursements have increased as well. Nothing personal, Thais is a very nice person, but business is business.

We voiced dissatisfaction with the additional yearly $3000 cost on top of the typical percentages for investing. The response was a many-worded promise that we would deal directly with Thais going forward and things would be better. After months of no change and not interfacing directly we decided we should look elsewhere. When this came to her attention our accounts were dropped immediately from her management into the larger corporation and given no pro-rating for the mandatory yearly fee that provided us nothing.

The 2x yearly calls do not justify thousands on top of the percentages already involved.

Additionally, the corporate office was immediately able to reduce fee percentages after a short conversation.
