We had a fantastic lifetime bucket list item checked off with this outfit and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Calvin is so knowledgeable and patient and his sense of fairness is top-notch. I did this trip a month before, and Calvin was our guide then too! I sent my pictures to my friend and she booked a flight here from the east coast of the lower 48 to do this trip again with me. I hope that says something about our experience. On our return trip back to the truck, the side-by-side hit a little snag and busted a spring shock in the rear suspension and Calvin was so cool under pressure. He fixed it so it was manageable and got us back to safety without any major concerns. Well done! I cannot express my gratitude and thrill more!

Man was I impressed with Kodiak Anglers! Jay and Calvin were super easy to work with, picked me up and provided all my gear, and proved that they were the guiding service to go with!

Jay shared his knowledge of the island while we were riding out and took the effort to stop for scenic pictures of critters (like the one attached). Once out there, you could tell they were in-tune with where the fish were and pulled us into a great fishing experience! Calvin and Jay made sure to hook me on some fish and we maxed out our limit in no time!

Don’t shy away from a good time like this deer, Kodiak Anglers is where it’s at!

For the one day we had for an adventure we choose Kodiak Anglers LCC for a backcountry trip. Since we´re from Germany, there was some communication up front. The respond to Questions was always fast and informativ. We arrived at Kodiak airport at 8am and were picked up by Jay and Calvin (our guide). Right from the first moment we knew, we had made the right choice. Everything was exactly like Jay said in his mails. We could store our luggage in the car and took the UTV to the Saltery Creek. The whole day was a fantastic adventure and Calvin told us all about the scenery and also taught us new fishing technics. He was very helpfull in every aspect. We recommend Kodiak Anglers LCC very much to anyone who wants a reliable partner with top guides.

Jay and Calvin were amazing guides! My wife, kids and sisters all have never used a fly rod before and they handled our group of eight like champs. Nearly everyone said it was the best fishing experience they’ve ever had. Highly recommend Kodiak Anglers and we hope to be back again soon!

Highlight of our Kodiak trip! We spent 3 days on a fishing charter before spending a day with Jay and Cal (our guides) and everyone agreed this was our favorite day. Our group of 6 was kept busy bringing in fish and enjoying a great day along the saltery. Great guys, awesome guides…absolutely recommend. We will be back!

We went fishing on the Saltery river. Calvin was our guide. He is very knowledgeable about fishing and the history of the area. We caught our limit of Sockeye salmon in 2 hours. Jay responded to all my questions the same day I asked them and had great suggestions and answers. I would definitely recommend booking with Kodiak Anglers LLC.

We had the best time! Jay and Calvin are great guides. Super patient with my 8 year old son, and they even taught him how to fish and reel in the sockeye. Great ride out to saltery, and great company to be around!

Highly impressed with Kodiak Anglers. They accommodated our last-minute booking and made the process smooth and easy. Jay was super responsive and easy to work with. Our guide, Corey, is top-notch and went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience. Oh yeah, and the fishing was great too! Looking forward to coming back again.
