Want a guide who knows the river and all the spots that fish live? Sean is your man. Very knowledgeable and hard working guide, had us in fish the whole trip. 5 stars!

Top notch day! Fishing was tough because of the high water level, despite the conditions, Sean delivered, he worked hard and burned fuel to find the fish. Aside from being an excellent guide with tons of knowledge, he was really patient with teaching us the style of fishing we’ve never done before. Plus we weren’t fully prepared and loaned us extra jackets, and rain gear. Within 10 minutes of being on the boat it felt like you were fishing with a buddy, super laid back, not intimidating what so ever. Sometimes these guys come with egos that can be uncomfortable, not Sean , he demonstrated his skill by delivering. Another plus was he s very safety oriented, and very much cared about preservation of the resource

Kenai River Recon was an excellent guided trip. Sean was super friendly and helpful, communicating frequently with us before our trip. He was full of information to help us prepare and was super patient with our limited knowledge on salmon fishing and the area. We did a one day guided fishing trip for sockeye salmon. During the day, Sean taught my husband, my son, and me how to properly fish for sockeye. It was a super fun and successful day. We finished up with our full limit and after processing, had about 68 pounds of salmon to take home! Shout out to Sean's mom for the chocolate chip cookies. They may not be included with each trip, but they were nice to have with a cup of coffee during a break from fishing! We will definitely use Sean as our guide again and highly recommend him for your next fishing trip!

The Kenai river is a rich and wonderful fishery. Sean knows this fishery intimately and provided us with a great day out. Sockeye salmon, big fighting rainbows, amongst others were encountered, caught and released. Also saw some great eagles and moose. Thanks for a great day Sean.
