I turned over my quickbooks to Craig, who seemed like a great guy, to fix my 2022 books which were left a mess by my bookkeeper and get 2023 done. What a disaster. Promises, promises and then he turns over a 990 months later with ALL income as Sales and ALL expenses as COGS, I almost died. This is for a nonprofit, which he assured me they were skilled at working with! Donations, everything-Sales. Animal Feed-cost of goods sold, unbelievable. After waiting so long with nothing but promises that they would get the 990 filed in time, big failure. I had to get another bookkeeper to try and fix the mess his people made and get a 990 filed that was close to accurate. It was a disaster. I was so upset with him and the lying and the promising and the assuring that they knew what they were doing and would get the return filed in time just to get a disaster of a 990. Maybe for simple bookkeeping and personal tax returns but for business returns, especially nonprofits, total incompetence. The constant lying is what really infuriates me and then not accepting responsibility for destroying my books and making us late to file the 990. And to treat a charity in such a dispicable way, its unconscienable.

Another thing I like is that Chrystl uses some sort of encrypted message system, so I can upload my tax documents securely. I get an email when my tax return is ready to file, Chrystl calls to explain the specifics, and then I e-sign and submit. It’s an easy process and I’ve built trust in Chrystl’s expertise and honesty. I definitely recommend her to small business owners or to anyone who needs to get their taxes done.
