My husband and I have worked with Tess for about a year. On our first consultation we were a bit nervous about what to expect, but this was quickly replaced with enthusiasm and hope as she gently prodded us as to why planning for the future was so important to us, which made us dream a little about what we wanted our lives to look like in the near and far future. Tess carefully walked us through financial goals throughout the year that fit our family’s desires when it came to retirement savings, childcare, insurance planning, and even budgeting. She also helped us to review our employment benefits to ensure we were taking advantage of the benefits offered. She was incredibly informative, perceptive, nonjudgmental, patient, and kind to us throughout the whole process. I’ve been working with Tess for a few months now, and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience! I finished my pediatric residency a couple of years ago and had been putting off addressing my financial situation, but I got motivated after my husband and I had our daughter this past year. I found Tess through White Coat Investor and had meetings with her and two other companies. I felt like she listened to me the best in terms of what goals I had for myself. She didn’t have an agenda to push, and she’s never made me feel silly for asking what are probably some of the most basic financial questions! She’s already helped us significantly in regards to our budget, 401K, HSA, life insurance policy, private loans, and disability insurance.
