He's a crook. He'll take your money and feed you to the Polk Co. prosecution.
He grossly mishandled our case. He missed so many things he should have fought to have kept out of court. He had 2 chances to win the trial. Wouldn't consider defense arguments that could have helped.
There was a double jeopardy charge before sentencing that would have LED TO 2ND MISTRIAL. When we pointed out the double jeopardy mistake, did Mr. Averbuck approach the judge and file a motion for mistrial? No sir, he did not. I guess that would've meant more work for him. No, instead what did he do He ran over to the prosecutor and pointed out the mistake to HIM. The prosecution dropped the charge and they all acted like they did us a favor. Had I of known the things I know now, I would've found other representation for court.
