If I could give no stars I would. I have unfortunately dealt with these people for the last 3 years. They are awful when it comes to communication, very rude and inconsiderate. I went without properly functioning AC for two months and paid triple the electric bill due to THEIR delay in fixing the AC and dealing with the holes in the roof allowing pests to chew through the duct work. Now the same issue is happening because they still have not fixed the holes allowing pests in. They sure don’t mind going up on their rent though, for a property they very poorly manage.

I absolutely love these people! I have been renting from them for a few months and they have been great we had some issues in the home (ceiling fans, carpet, etc.) and they kept in contact and sent maintenance people ASAP! If you have a plumbing issue they send plumbers, carpets they send carpenters! Not just one handy man! I would recommend this place to anybody!

If I could give a lower rating I would! My fiancé and I have waited over 2 months to have our A/C fixed in our apartment. It's a constant high 80's or 90's in our apartment and we have 2 small children. After multiple phone calls and complaining I finally got my A/C fixed. They are very unprofessional I even got an email from Dottie the lady who shows the homes that read "Thanks for the update. The uncooperative tenants always mean & groan & blame everyone else as usual". The whole staff is very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't recommend renting from these people EVER

They were great to work with. Very fast overall. On time for the appointment to show me the house, and way faster and better with communication, faster with the background, credit check, and income verification than other property managers I've worked with. Overall just made it nice and easy to get into a great house.

I moved in 2/1/20. I work nights. To make a long story short. I have several problems with the condo I rent. Even the manager of the company agreed that the unit was not cleaned. I gave a written list of all the things that needed to addressed back in April /May. I don't remember. My AC did not work correctly it had a freon leak. I have a mold problem, my windows are sealed shut, so much more. I sent several emails as per the manager. I never got a return email or a return phone call. When I would call, i was told I have a guy coming out. Ok great when? It is now over a month later in October. Finally got a new AC unit. Mold was exposed while the new unit was installed. Called and sent emails with pictures to the manager at his request. Still nothing. The property owner was spraying bleach on the mold and covering it up with drywall mud. So I called code enforcement. Now waiting to see what happens. I had a stroke back in June due to covid-19 complications. I am unable to move nor have the extra to move. I do like the unit and would like to stay. Just fix what needs to be fixed as per code ordinance. But I would not recommend this agency.

I went on the internet quickly just now, to get alpha's phone number, to call with a question....when I saw a couple not very good reviews….I said wwhhaaa? Frankly I couldn't believe it and stopped to leave a review which never dawned on me before to even do:) I have had much contact with Alpha for over ten years. They are very good to their tenants and treat their owners very well. I have a rental with them still and I have two different friends that have rented through them. They both spoke well of Alpha. I know for a fact that Alpha has many renters that have used them in the past, that come back to them again and again and send their friends with confidence. People don't run from this company they try to stay with it because they trust it. Good companies you can trust are hard to find. the integrity at Alpha is very high. nothing sloppy, nothing poorly done. They answer questions in a timely manner, they are very professional and I know they have been in Auburndale FOREVER. I think over 25 years. Dottie does things the old fashioned way, exceptional service, above and beyond, a kind heart...but she doesn't put up with disrespect she knows is undeserved. I've had at least eight lengthy conversations with her over the last 15 years, and she is the dearest soul. She isn't a 'push over' she's a very balanced business woman. Still I have had small tussles with her....over whether I should have to pay something or the tenant....she sides with the tenant PLENTY and yet I feel she is fair with me as well. Her opinions are legally sound and come from vast experience. She is very good at managing both ends of what she does, if she ever gets blunt with someone, its rare, and trust me they needed the firmness. Her office staff are lovely and do a very good job assisting each person they serve. She communicates thoroughly and well. She will include owners to a legal and considerate degree in the choice of their renter. I got issued a check a couple years ago, I lost it and didn't even realize I had not deposited it. At the end of the year, I got a notice that there was an outstanding check I had not cashed and it was sent to me. Honestly had they not alerted me, I would not have known and never would have realized I had missed those monies. Alpha is very honest and kind. Dottie is the absolute best. Cheryl is patient and great to work with.

We have been renting a house in lake Alfred for 10 years from Alpha Properties and have had nothing but a great experience. Dottie Rowe and her staff are always professional. When something breaks they fix it . Never had an issue. What these people are saying is simply NOT true. I would not still be here 10 years later if there was any problems. Trust me...if you pay your rent there are no problems and when something breaks all it takes is one call and problem solved.

These people are so unprofessional about everything! They don't fix anything when asked. I've had my AC broken for a month and it still broken. This was my first experience in Florida and it definitely did not leave a great impression. If I could rate them less than a one star it would be more sufficient.
