Staff is excellent! Wonderful Physician! Only one issue! I have been trying to get a call back to schedule an appointment. I have left 5 messages. My appointment was canceled and I need to get in there

Dr Shuster is an amazing Doctor he listens to you, he cares about you, he talks to you about all your issues, and answers questions patiently . His injections are flawless, I believe his ARNP is Janine, she is very compassionate and has plethora of knowledge. The staff has always been great, there’s a young man downstairs at the Ft Myers office that is always eager to help and patient with even the most rude people. With every good review there is a bad one. Melynda . No empathy only apathy. Talked down to me in a way I’ve never experienced in a medical facility . Rude , condescending, she’s angry , on my way out she was treating staff like children. I was treated like a drug seeker by simply asking what were some medication options , I’ve been in pain mgmt for several years.
Minimized my pain without looking at all my MRI reports. Saying things like oh it’s not too bad , it’s just a “small” herniated disc. These are subjective complaints, the real problem was falsifying my medical records. She left the room and came back within 3 minutes with her typed up version of my appt. Saying she examined me, she never touched me. Put down she scolded me for being on benzodiazepines without authorization I’m not on that med it’s never been prescribed . Saying she warned me to stop taking more than the daily dose of my medication or I could be kicked out of pain mgmt, I told her I often feel like I need to take more but I don’t. I’m worried that this false information could hurt me in the future with anything medical related , I’m a disable combat Vet the VA is very strict I could lose benefits if I’m believed to be a drug abuser. It’s unethical to carelessly put false info in a medical record. Avoid this PA-C . I’m only writing the review to warn people, I’m not looking for admonishment.

Kirsti Hoag went beyond the call of duty to reschedule my appointment that was cancelled and put me on a waiting list. She called later that same day and was able to get spot even earlier. It’s not just that… it’s her sincerity and presence of mind when I arrived. Her kindness will be remembered by me...

I so wish, that there were more like her and Dr. Mahaney’s staff in the healthcare industry. This world seems to have forgotten that that level of humanity only breeds more unselfishness. I left the office with hope because Kirsti and the staff have such heart and I think it put a slight glow in mine.

I look SO forward to being pain-free.

Patient care is great! Appointments are challenging because of the automated system (no fault of the employees), but other than that, everything is great.

Had a 9 am appt, was told to arrive 15 minutes early at 8:45 and didn't get to see anyone until after 10am.

Brief perfunctory visit, meds renewed, no complications.

Been trying for 3 days to cancel my appointment for February 6th. Because I am a new patient they keep telling me I had to go through different people. Was connected to 3 different people and they still refused to cancel my appointment. Told me that I had to be connected to a 4th person. I got pissed off after being on the phone 25 minutes and hung up. Just better not charge me if I don't show up or they will see me in court and pay me for my aggravation.I have worked in the medical field and this is not the way to treat a new patient.

I had a total hip replacement on 10/23 by Dr. Alden. From the very beginning of the process of deciding to move forward with plans for surgery, Dr. Alden and his staff took time to answer my questions and communicate next steps. My recovery after surgery went well, and I would highly recommend Dr. Alden if you are considering hip replacement. It is only 7 weeks past surgery and I feel like I have my life back! Thank you Dr. Alden!

I am a life enrichment director at a local retirement home. A resident of mine had a 3pm appointment, he was late on account of our transportation running behind schedule. He called ahead of time to let the doctor know he would be late, and he was told he had a 15 minute window or they could not see him. We pulled into the parking lot at 3:12, and he walked in the doors at 3:13. He was still told that they could not see him, even though he made it within the 15 minute window. The same resident has waited over an hour to see the doctor before. Now, even though he is in excruciating pain due to a torn ligament, he can’t be see until September 11th, which is multiple weeks away.
