I have been working with Grand Mesa CPA's for a year now and they've always been responsive to any questions I have had regarding my business and investments. Was referred to Grand Mesa CPA by an associate of US Bank. Had spoken to CPA Peri a week before meeting her. She asked my wife to put together some documents for our taxes. My wife asked if a Google sheet that she shares would be okay. Peri said that is what she prefers. My wife put a lot of time in putting together the Google sheet with all our tax information. She included things specifically for us in case of a future audit. When we went to meet Peri for the first time, she was the rudest most unprofessional person I’ve come across in a while. She told my wife the Google sheet she put together was a mess and if we didn’t put it in her form, we’d have to have someone else do our taxes next time. However, it wasn’t a mess and it was very clearly organized. She attempted to apologize for coming off rude but her unprofessional bad behavior just continued. Eventually I said no, and told my wife we were leaving. She continued her bad behavior as we left. I would never recommend this business to anyone! Maybe not all their CPA’s act like this, but Peri is a very poor representative for Grand Mesa CPA!

POOR COMMUNICATION & VERY ABRASIVE IN APPROACH…
I would consider any other option for CPA after our interactions today meeting Peri for the first time.
We were spoken to very aggressively right off the bat for not having her company form filled out. This was the first we had heard of there preferred form; we were never told about any form prior to the meeting. Peri oddly threatened us with not assisting us in the future if we didn’t use her form moving forward. It was all very strange & a very abrasive approach to requesting use of her form.
We knew we were there to find out what more she would need from us, but her “teaching” was nothing short of rude & unprofessional.

We left & will be using anyone else.

I have worked with Denise and this firm for many years. She is one of the only people I pay to tell me what to do. She gives guidance during the year so that I don’t have any surprises at tax time. Mariah and Peri are also excellent. I would highly recommend this firm.

Trustworthy, competent, timely. The three things I look for in a good accountant happen to be the three words I'd use to describe Alan & the others I work with. I know I can trust them; that they're looking out for me and my business. I know they are intelligent and knowledgeable about the important tax laws that affect me and my business, and they get things done within a reasonable time frame without having to call and check on things. Price isn't in my top 3 most important criteria, but it's worth mentioning that their prices are extremely fair. This is the best accounting firm I've ever used, and I can't see ever having to go anywhere else.
