I'm not sure where these so-called "tax professionals" acquired any sort of professionalism, but I cannot believe how a close friend of mine was treated by this organization. I have the email response he received to prove it.

My friend is a business professional who dropped off his taxes to be completed at this establishment. The documents were originally presented in a folder. The tax preparer was in receipt of his documents, and decided it would be good business to hang on to them for approximately six weeks without any kind of status update or completion. After deciding they could not or would not complete his taxes, he received a very nasty email which read (and this is exactly as written):

"We can mail them to you priority today if you like (name removed for privacy), and by the way we are not HR Block if you want them done quick go there... and if you want to bring a shoebox of crap go there to... that's not how we operate here... sorry to disappoint you"

There is a professional way and an unprofessional way to go about one's business. The above email is one of the worst displays of customer service I have ever witnessed. I wouldn't normally write a review on one's behalf, but I am completely disgusted by the behavior of this organization. My issue is with how this tax preparer treated my friend, who chose not to write a review because he has bigger things to worry about... courtesy of Salewski & Rogers. You should take your taxes to HR Block, as the tax preparer was so kind to suggest. They will at least treat you with some respect, and not patronize you via email.
