Strategic College Advisors assisted my son with his college prep and application process. Ronke was amazing! She had so much knowledge on the current application process and was able to give us many pointers that we did not know and never would have thought of. The process has really changed a lot since we (parents) went to college. Note that although my son had a college counselor at his high school, we got much more customized advice, strategies, and support from Ronke including her giving us a much more appropriate college list than what the high school gave. Independent College Advisors like Ronke visit colleges regularly and do their research on what colleges fit what type of students and what the colleges are looking for. When the Time for College came, I was feeling lost. As a European, I was not used to the American College Application Process: I knew nothing about it. I had attended online and in person webinars and everything felt so complicated. I was approached by a Company College Counselor, whom I met together with my son, but at the end of the meeting, we didn't feel comfortable. We felt as if we were dealing with a company, rather than a counselor, and as if we had listened to a Sale pitch, rather than an impartial ensemble of information.
