My wife and I attended a dinner/presentation hosted by Tucker Financial. The dinner was very nice and we were impressed with the presentation. We scheduled and attended an initial meeting with Darren to share our financials and discuss retirement and other investment options. The meeting went very well and we left feeling very positive about our experience and the deliverables promised. We scheduled a follow-up meeting with Darren for a couple weeks later in order to review the results. Our meeting was scheduled for 11:30am.

My wife and I arrived at 11:25am and was soon greeted by a very friendly associate. She offered us water and told us that Darren would be with us shortly. We waited in the lobby for about 10 more minutes and the friendly associate delivered the waters and mentioned that Darren was running a bit late but should be with us very soon. We waited another 10 minutes and the friendly associate apologized again.

We communicated that my wife had taken off work to attend this meeting and that we had a hard stop at 12:30pm. She had to return to work for another meeting. We waited until 11:55am and still Darren had not acknowledged us, apologized briefly for our wait, or let us know how much longer the delay might be.

My wife finally said that we needed to leave and reschedule our meeting for another date/time. We motioned to the friendly associate that we were leaving and expected to receive a call from Tucker to apologize for the situation and reschedule us for another visit.

We never received a call from Tucker. I contacted their office several days later and spoke to the Receptionist. She was very friendly and very apologetic when I explained our experience. She assured me that this was not the way Tucker conducted business, our concerns would be addressed, and that we should expect a call from them soon.

It has been 3 weeks since I last contacted them with no response from anyone. We feel very frustrated and insulted that we have been ignored by Tucker Financial. I really thought that they were serious about helping clientele plan for their financial future. Evidently, we were not important enough for them. I would have expected more respect from such a seemingly high-level company.

I do not recommend this company if you are starting small like me with investing. They make everything sound so good up front and then they did not follow up with me to get things setup properly. Then they just stopped contacting me. They did not inform me that their team member I worked with had moved until we specifically asked. They also stopped supporting the investment that they recommended and originally set me up with.
